fifth grader's absence note

Bruce Springsteen

The streets of Philadelphia are a fine place to learn a lesson they won't teach you in school: Bruce Springsteen is more important than school. Nevertheless, a fine young man was wise enough to skip the first day of fifth grade for a chance to meet the Boss, and things worked out just fine.

Michael Fenerty accompanied his dad to Springsteen's show, and, per the school's policy requiring a note when a student is absent, got the rock and roll icon to sign one

I at present possess a USB broadband modem. I procured a wireless router which has ethernet connections. At present, the modem is plugged into my personal computer downstairs and that is jogging Windows 98, for that reason, it will never bridge the connections to my laptop upstairs(XP). I can't update to XP because a loved one wont 'risk' it.

Am i able to join the USB broadband modem to my wi-fi router using an advanced array of cable adapters ie ethernet to USB (I cant find a USB TO ETHERNET adapter). If this is simply not doable, if I plug the USB modem into my XP computer, can i bridge the connections to my Win 98 laptop or computer making use of the XP personal computer as being the host?

I do think their is Ethernet to USB out their at present but not USB to ethernet. I dont see any purpose why you should not be able to hook up your USB modem on your XP pc and utilize it being a bridge to your ninety eight laptop.

I at present have a very USB broadband modem. I purchased a wi-fi router which has ethernet connections. At this time, the modem is plugged into my laptop or computer downstairs that is working Windows 98, thus, it would not bridge the connections to my laptop or computer upstairs(XP). I can't update to XP for the reason that a loved one wont 'risk' it.

If this is simply not feasible, if I plug the USB modem into my XP personal computer, can i bridge the connections to my Get ninety eight computer system working with the XP computer given that the host?

I believe their is Ethernet to USB out their presently although not USB to ethernet. I dont see any purpose why you should not have the ability to hook up your USB modem to the XP laptop or computer and utilize it like a bridge to your 98 personal computer.

I currently possess a USB broadband modem. I ordered a wireless router which has ethernet connections. At this time, the modem is plugged into my laptop downstairs and that is working Windows 98, consequently, it won't bridge the connections to my pc upstairs(XP). I can't update to XP for the reason that a member of the family wont 'risk' it.

Am i able to connect the USB broadband modem to my wireless router using a complicated variety of cable adapters ie ethernet to USB (I cant find a USB TO ETHERNET adapter). If this is simply not achievable, if I plug the USB modem into my XP computer, am i able to bridge the connections to my Win 98 laptop or computer using the XP pc as being the host?

I think their is Ethernet to USB out their at present but not USB to ethernet. I dont see any motive why you should not manage to hook up your USB modem towards your XP computer and use it to be a bridge towards the 98 computer system.
